The most common issue my students struggle with
Hey there,
Do you know the most common problem dog owners come to me for?
Not the most pressing issue… the most common one.
You see, every single student who has come to me has specific training goals.
Some students come to me with reactive dogs – to reduce barking, growling, or lunging…
Some have over-excited or energetic dogs – they want their dog to be calm and polite…
Others recently got a new puppy – their goal is to improve their puppy’s attention span and build a solid training foundation…
And for some, they just want to have fun with their dog!
So what’s the most common problem dog owners have?
Here’s something that made me perk up my ears (and it’s what I’ve been observing over time):
EVERYONE, to a certain extent, was struggling with their dog’s behavior when they’re out and about.
- They don’t respond to their owner in public, even with high-value treats
- They’re easily distracted by little animals like squirrels or birds
- They get over-excited and “jumpy” when greeting new friends
- They drag their owner around as if it’s their last chance to walk
- And more…
Interesting!
Which is why I decided to launch the Focus in Public course again…
I really think this is a course everyone should take if you want your dog to behave in public.
I would LOVE to tell you more, but I want to make sure it’s something you’re interested in first.
Hop on the waitlist here to get first dibs on the course.
And if you want to be super prepared, mark your calendar for April 24. That’s when the launch will happen.
