Why so many people fail at dog training

The latest information from SpiritDog Training...

Yesterday I sent you a quick email, asking if you were interested in why dog training is often so difficult for many people.

The responses were fantastic!

Which is great because I have SO MUCH to share about it.

Do you know why most people fail at dog training?

Here’s why…

More often than not, it’s because we’re skipping steps.

That’s it; we’re simply not following our dog’s pace.

Either we’re moving through the training too quickly, zooming through the steps, maybe even skipping over some we think are too “basic”…

Or we spend too little time on each step with our dog, thinking they already know something they don’t.

Let’s have a thought experiment together:

Just imagine teaching a baby mathematical ideas like fractions or multiplication. That’s such an impossible task!

BUT we can first teach them how to count.

One.. Two… Three…

One day, when the time is right, the baby (probably now a school-going child) will be ready to learn fractions properly.

This brings me to Focus in Public, our course on helping your dog behave when you’re out and about.

(It will be launched on April 24!)

Our method in Focus in Public works wonders because instead of mindlessly speeding past a long series of steps, we teach a unique method that transforms your dog’s behavior at its root.

This makes the results you achieve with your dog long-lasting, effective, and transformative.

We show you how to break down each training into simple steps so you can systematically work through the training with your dog.

We’ll also progress through multiple difficulties. Eventually, you will be able to train your dog anywhere. At home, in a park, at the beach…

The possibilities are endless!

If you’re struggling with a dog who is overly energetic or poorly-behaved in public, you can join the waitlist today to be the first to know when Focus in Public drops.
